Numbers as art. Can accounting be creative and still be legal? We certainly hope so.
There is something magical about making a balance sheet balance. About adding a column of numbers on a trial balance and ending up with zero. Financial statements are like perfect pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that fit together in only one way.
How can that be boring? Why does accounting need to be stodgy? Why can't we learn how to communicate the mysteries of accounting in a way that everyone can share in our passion? Why do we have to wear black socks with shorts?
Why is the abbreviation for Debit "DR"?
